Allow Me to Reintroduce Myself

Over the past few month’s so many people have been coming to me for website development. Now, this is not an odd request because my company Cre8tive Vibes offers Brand Development Services. Here’s where things got strange each person I spoke to had no idea what they wanted to create a website for. (pause)

Why are so many people diving headfirst into design BEFORE developing a foundation for their business?

Here’s the answer. We live in an INSTANT world. We see things we want and because the times have changed so much the process of actually creating something from start to finish now appears to be automatic. Sorry friends, there is no APP for finding your purpose in life! You have to spend time developing that yourself. So this is why this trend of creating a website or having a logo 1st (before developing the structure) has become more consistent than ever before. People are not accustomed to doing the work.

I have to admit I’m guilty of doing it wrong. When I first started my business I was offering design services and saying that this was brand development. When the truth is that was only Brand design. After struggling to help people see the value in strategy and planning and getting paid for this service, I had to put a halt on designing. It’s like I had to reinvent myself. Yes, I can design your logo. Yes, I can create your website, but unfortunately, I can not build your business for you. I had to start saying no to design work and start asking the tough questions that no one wants to answer.

This week I launched my New Podcast series The Entrepreneur Lifestyle Podcast with Bridgette Rooks and opened the doors to the Cre8tive Vibes Virtual Training Studios. The best way to help people is to tell them what they need even if they don’t realize they need it.

You must have a solid foundation and build a structure for your business first. When you start understanding what your vision is and why you are offering your service/products to the world makes your brand message very clear. In other words, people are more likely to buy from you if they understand the value of your service/products offer, and if you can solve their specific problem.

My podcast is dedicated to struggling entrepreneurs who are looking to make lifestyle changes to build a business making money doing what they love. The training studios provide the knowledge and help bridge the gap between thinking about starting a business and taking action and doing the work required to run a successful business.

That’s why I felt the need to reintroduce myself to you today. My name is Bridgette Rooks, I am the CEO of Cre8tive Vibes and I was doing it wrong. I have created a framework that allows you to bypass some of the pain and struggles I went through and start your business the right way.
