Get Up Off That Sofa & Say Yes Not Can’t Everyday!
How hard is it for you to do that BIG scary thing? If saying YES to that scary thing is SCARY then you have no choice but to do it! The 4th step in the Seven-Step Formula for Manifesting your Dreams is SYNCED. It is a simple acronym that is designed to remind you that is it time out for doing what's easy. My friend, it is time to get up off that sofa and Say Yes not Can’t Everyday!
My question for you is simple.
Are you ready to face your fears head on and commit to the changes you know you need to make?

The first thing I need you to do is remember Step 3, and breathe. Exhale and let your guard down a bit. This is a safe place for you and the perfect time to dig deep into your inner self. The best part is there's no judgment here. It's just you and your thoughts.
Learning to trust yourself, being vulnerable, and admitting that you still have some growing to do, can be difficult. These are old habits and old thought patterns that only you can eliminate. But first, you have to admit that it’s time. And you have to commit to shifting that old thought process to a new way of thinking. Again, make sure to exhale and take a deep breath. Although it seems impossible you can do it and I'll show you how.
So grab your notebook and let's take action!
How many times have you said no recently to something you know you needed to do? Does that Big Scary Thing continue to pop up here and there? If yes, why haven't you done it? Well then clearly you are making any and every excuse to say no. Here's where the notebook comes into play. In detail, write down that scary thing, why it scares you, and what you need to do. Trust me I was just like you when I started my business. It's so hard to say yes to that scary thing. Especially when you have to admit that you don't completely know what you are doing.
One of the biggest struggles my clients are working through right now is finding the time. We all have the same 24 hours each day to live. We have to learn how to manage our time better to see the results that we dream of.
It's so easy to say yes when it's comfortable but I want to challenge you to start saying yes when it's uncomfortable. I mean saying yes when you have to grit your teeth and fearfully say yes to that Big Scary Thing. It's just like taking that leap of faith that we talked about in the beginning. You have to believe that you can even though you cannot see the results.
A few things that I'm working on overcoming are public speaking and connecting with others in a more engaging way.
It is important to have people in your circle who push and challenge you to be better. This is funny to me because I am always encouraging and pushing my clients, family, and friends. I love it when I get the same encouragement. I have a few high-level clients and virtual mentors that challenge me to do Big Scary Things all the time.
I feel confident and comfortable when I am in control and it's just me. But adding other people to the mix lowkey gives me huge anxiety. I've learned to maintain my fear and skate by saying "I'm too busy" or "that's not what I do". I finally had to own up to my fear and admit that I was afraid and just start doing it. This is the very thing that I want to encourage you to do.
Here's a 4-Step Process to Say Yes (Especially) When it's Scary.
Step 1 is to admit that it's scary. If you feel one ounce of fear then you must do it.
Step 2 is to say yes right away. Accept the fear and trust the process, focus on the end goal, and then say yes to winning.
Step 3 is to come up with an Action Plan. If the fear is overwhelming get help. Talk to an expert. Get an accountability partner.
Side note: There's no need to suffer through something that's probably not as scary as you think.
Step 4 is to commit! Put this plan on your calendar and be committed to taking action.
It is time to suck it up and start saying YES to taking action and overcoming that fear. It's crazy how many excuses you can come up with to kindly back out of doing something that you know you need to do. And the best way to change this thought process is to buy simply saying yes.
If it's scary that means you must do it! If you doubt yourself that means you must do it! If you don't know how to get it done?That means you must do it!
This is where having a planner or using my 90-day Mindset Makeover Journal comes in handy. Once you admit and commit to the "Big Scary Thing" you can take action by putting it on the calendar. If this scary thing is something that you need to take action on right now, take action on it right now! If you are unable to take action right away, start looking at the very next day. Do not allow time to go by that will allow you to change your mind talk yourself out of it or make an excuse. Remember friends, these are NEW habits and routines that will only happen with the right mindset. You have to make a daily effort to get SYNCED - Say Yes Not Can't Everyday!
