[Effort] Your Results Reflect Your Investment.

Give a little. Get a little. Hard work beats talent every time. Everyone has seen the movie Rudy, right? Rudy wasn't the smartest, he wasn't the most talented, and he was definitely considered too small for football. But he showed up ready, excited, willing to give it his all every day.

We live in an "Insta" everything world. Looking happy or successful and glamorous are way more important than actually being successful. Great social media pics and a few likes and clicks won't last long if you don't provide a substantial amount of value in return.

What is the hardest part of being productive for you on a normal workday? Is it overwhelm from thinking about the to-do list? Or the inability to focus and stay on task and see things through from start to finish? The best thing to do is to KNOW yourself and what your areas of opportunity are and stop making excuses for bad behavior.

Top excuses for bad behavior that’s holding you back from reaching your goals:

  • I’ve always been terrible at…

  • I’ve got time. I’ll do it tomorrow when…

  • I don’t think it’s going to work so…

  • This is too much, it can’t be done so…

  • Let me ask them what they think…

  • That’s too much, I don’t really need to do that…

  • It’s too hard and I suck at it...

The combination of procrastination and lack of organization is the number one blockers that most people struggle with. Your thought process is going to be your downfall if you don’t unlearn those limiting beliefs and start learning better habits. It may feel impossible to make these changes, but you can do anything you set your mind to. So the choice is yours.
